An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides structured mental health treatment delivered through multiple weekly sessions—a level of care that falls between standard weekly therapy and inpatient treatment. At Harmony IOP, our virtual program in California integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), EMDR, Brainspotting, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), nutritional counseling, occupational therapy, and yoga—all accessible from the comfort of your own home.

IOP Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps you understand and change thought patterns that negatively impact your behavior and emotions. Our clinical team uses CBT in both individual and group sessions to address depression, anxiety, PTSD, and OCD. You’ll learn to identify triggering thoughts, develop new coping strategies, and build healthier mental habits for long-term wellness.

Our program offers 9-20 hours of weekly clinical services—customized to your specific needs. Treatments frequently incorporated into these weekly hours include individual and group therapy (CBT, DBT, EMDR, mindfulness, IFS), ketamine-based therapies, biofeedback and neurofeedback (including the FDA-approved Prism for PTSD), Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), acupuncture, nutrition counseling, yoga therapy, and more.

Our IOP is available both in-person and online and is covered by most insurance plans.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

DBT was originally created to help with emotional regulation, but its benefits extend far beyond. At Harmony IOP, we incorporate DBT techniques into our virtual group sessions and individual therapy to support those dealing with anxiety, depression, and trauma.
